Go on. Be a Tiger.


On the hallway there’s a hole in the wall, close to the floor, looking like a Disney-ish mousehole. Looking through the hole a dark room can be seen, where a frustrated half-man-half-tiger in sporty underwear walks lazily back and forth.

This video installation was inspired by the Accenture Inc’s worldwide advertising campaign. A man aspires to become a tiger, but what is this beast but a frustrated prisoner in the zoo of ready-made identities? And what position would this leave for the spectator who is kneeling on a mousehole?

Go On. Be a Tiger was displayed in 2010 as part of my thesis exhibition in Helsinki.
